Six out of twelve elected councillors of Municipal Committee Ganderbal have threatened to resign over alleged corruption in Municipal Committee Ganderbal.
The councillors alleged that unabated illegal construction without proper sanction from the designated authority is going on within Municipal limits. They also alleged that none of their genuine concerns and problems are addressed by the Municipal officers. They have appealed to the Governor's Administration to look into the irregularities and corrupt practices of the Municipal Committee officers.
